GolfWiz AI Introduces Free Web-Based Golf Stance & Posture Analyzer

The browser-based tool analyzes golfer setup from face-on and down-the-line, identifying posture and stance issues in seconds.

AUSTIN, TX, UNITED STATES, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- GolfWiz AI has launched Golf Setup Analyzer, a free AI tool that analyzes a golfer’s address position and provides feedback on posture and stance within seconds. The analyzer runs on both desktop and mobile web browsers, with no app installation required.

To use the online tool, golfers need to adjust their device's camera for a clear view of their address position and select their club type and whether they are right- or left-handed. The AI tool can analyze golf setup in either face-on (from the front) or down-the-line (from behind) within three seconds.
The feedback reflects differences between driver and iron setups, since both clubs require different ball positions, stance widths, and body lean. Meanwhile, each of the two angles is analyzed for a different set of faults, providing golfers a thorough assessment of their setup.

From the down-the-line view, the web-based tool evaluates spine angle, knee flex, arm position, hand distance from the body, and shaft angle at address. It distinguishes between a traditional setup and a single-plane setup, accounting for golfers who intentionally use it.
From the face-on view, the AI checks stance width, weight lean, and hand position relative to the ball.

The feedback reports each setup parameter individually and highlights any flagged position in red on the golfer’s setup image. The issue is explained in plain language, along with a suggested correction. Users can download a certificate showing the results, share them with a coach or friend, or run the setup check again.

GolfWiz AI built this tool around the premise that most swing faults happen before the club moves. A golfer leaning too far forward, standing too close to the ball, or positioning the hands too far back is effectively fighting the swing from the first frame. These faults are often difficult to feel but can be identified on camera when a golfer knows what to look for.

The tool is designed for mid- and high-handicap players who practice independently, and can also be used by golf coaches looking for a quick reference to share with students.

The launch of Golf Setup Analyzer comes after the company released Grip Type Classifier last week, which guides users on how to hold a golf club correctly and explains grip fundamentals that influence setup and ball flight.
