LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Storecove has appointed Charles Bryant to be its UK Ambassador to support the company’s planned engagement with business and other stakeholders as the UK prepares for mandatory e-invoicing for VAT-registered businesses from 2029.— Charles Bryant
Charles brings extensive experience in e-invoicing, interoperability, standardisation and financial services and is widely recognised across the international e-invoicing ecosystem as having contributed to a number of important industry initiatives, such as the development of GENA (formerly EESPA) the industry trade association, work with Peppol on global interoperability, and involvement with CEN TC 434 on creating the European Norm 16931 for the core e-invoice. Most recently, he has supported the design phase of the UK’s developing e-invoicing regime.
The UK government has confirmed that the detailed UK e-invoicing regime will continue to be developed and implemented in collaboration with businesses, representative bodies, government organisations, tax professionals and software and service providers.
Charles brings an international perspective shaped by decades of experience in e-invoicing and through an extensive leadership career in international banking, payments and trade finance, and work with infrastructure organisations such as SWIFT. He also contributed to the implementation of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) as secretary general of the European Payments Council.
“This is an important moment for e-invoicing in the UK. The move to mandatory e-invoicing will create real opportunities for businesses, but getting the necessary standards, processes and implementation right from the outset will be essential,” Bryant said. “I’m very privileged to be working with Storecove and to bring to bear my experience to help businesses meet the changes ahead.”
Charles’s appointment strengthens Storecove’s presence in the UK at a significant point in the development of the country’s e-invoicing landscape, and in assisting Storecove to deliver solutions and support to its clients.
